Create The Category Landing Page
The first thing to do is to create the landing page for the new category. Remember to preserve the formatting of the other blog post category pages you must:
- set the page to full width
- select “Hide Post Title”
Choose a premade category layout
Selecting a premade layout and then the appropriate category page to act as the template will preserve the formatting and style of the blog category page.
Select the correct category and redirect
Having created the page, select the correct category to display on it.
The last thing to do is to redirect the old category url to the new category page using a 301 redirect
